Dick Lugar: Living Large in New York City

A restful night at in the humble accommodations of New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel: $346.61

A seven block limo ride from the Waldorf-Astoria to dinner: $459.50

A bite to eat with friends at the elegant St. Regis: $7,321.84

Marking the one year anniversary of Dick Lugar's extravagant trip to the Big Apple with a rally to replace him: Priceless!

Fiscal conservative Richard Mourdock needs every Hoosier Republican's vote on Tuesday May 8th. Join Michelle Malkin and Freedom Works this coming Saturday, May 5th,  in Indianapolis and around the state to help the grassroots movement that is fighting to restore fiscal sanity in Congress.

* The dollar totals are from Lugar's July 2011 FEC report.

Update: Thanks to Smitty at the OtherMcCain for the link!

Thanks, Greg!

There were also expenses for airfare on 5/5, but that would've been for a future trip, I think. And the limo service looks high, so I wonder if that was transportation for all of the guests that went to what I assume was a dinner fundraiser. That might make sense as a kind of insurance policy in case one of your donors drank too much--you certainly don't want them dying!
